Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Fleet mobile application ("the App") provided by Thiago Lorenzo ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Fleet you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

01. License scope

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable license to download and use Fleet on devices you own or control solely for personal or professional aviation log tracking.

02. Eligibility minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Fleet. By accessing the App you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to accept these Terms.

03. User Responsibilities your role

  • Ensure information you enter is accurate, lawful, and complete.
  • Keep your device secure and protect access credentials.
  • Use Fleet in compliance with applicable aviation, safety, and data protection regulations.

04. Acceptable Use restrictions

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except as permitted by law.
  • Do not use Fleet for fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities.
  • Do not interfere with servers, networks, or third-party services connected to the App.

05. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases billing

Fleet offers an optional paid subscription ("Fleet Enthusiast") as a monthly auto-renewing in-app purchase through the Apple App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Pricing is displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Any price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
  • To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, or tap "Manage Subscription" within the App.
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription offerings, pricing, and the features included in each tier with reasonable notice.

06. Free & Premium Tiers features

Fleet is available in a free tier and a premium tier ("Fleet Enthusiast").

Feature availability and tier limits may change over time. If you cancel your subscription, premium features become unavailable at the end of the current billing period. Your data is retained — it is not deleted upon cancellation. Re-subscribing restores access to your full history.

Upon cancellation, access to flights whose records were created more than 2 years before the corresponding flight date will be restricted to paid subscribers only. These records remain stored and are fully restored upon re-subscribing.

07. Refunds & Cancellation payments

  • All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies.
  • Fleet does not process refunds directly.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remaining billing period.
  • Users in the EU/EEA may have additional withdrawal rights under local consumer protection law; such rights are exercised through Apple.

08. Third-Party Data Sources accuracy

Flight data displayed in Fleet is sourced from third-party providers, including FlightAware, AeroDataBox, and FlightRadar24.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party flight data.
  • Historical coverage depends on what these providers have on record; not all flights may be available.
  • Temporary or permanent unavailability of third-party services may affect premium features; this does not entitle you to a refund.
  • Flight data provided by Fleet should not be relied upon for official aviation, safety, or regulatory purposes.

09. Third-Party Services privacy

Fleet uses third-party services and SDKs for hosting, authentication, subscriptions, analytics, Google Ads and Meta attribution, and flight data. These services may process limited information as described in our Privacy Policy.

On iOS, any App Tracking Transparency permission request is a separate Apple-controlled privacy choice. Granting or declining that permission does not change your access to Fleet features and is not a separate agreement to these Terms.

10. Content Ownership your data

You retain rights to data you submit. By uploading or syncing data, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the App's features.

11. User Photos and Shared Content uploads

Fleet may allow you to upload, store, and share photos, images, or other content through the App, including by making content visible to friends, selected users, other Fleet users, or broader audiences through the App's sharing or visibility settings.

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, post, or share through Fleet. Do not upload or share any photo, image, or other content unless you own it or have permission from the owner to use and share it through Fleet.

By uploading content to Fleet, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to upload and share it.
  • Your upload and sharing of the content does not violate anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
  • Your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. However, by uploading content to Fleet, you grant Fleet a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, display, resize, format, transmit, and share that content solely as needed to operate, provide, protect, and improve Fleet, including making the content available according to the sharing or visibility settings you select.

Content you share or make visible to others may be viewed, saved, screenshotted, downloaded, copied, or further shared by those users or audiences outside of Fleet. You should only share content or make it visible in ways you are comfortable with. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fleet is not responsible for how others use, save, screenshot, download, copy, or further share content after you make it available to them.

Fleet does not guarantee that shared content will remain private or confidential after you share it or make it visible to another user or audience. You are responsible for deciding what content you upload and which sharing or visibility settings you choose.

You may not upload, post, or share content that:

  • You do not own or have permission to use.
  • Infringes or violates another person's rights.
  • Contains unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material.
  • Contains private information about another person without permission.
  • Is intended to harm, impersonate, mislead, or harass another person.

Fleet may review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, infringes someone else's rights, creates legal risk, affects the safety or experience of other users, or is otherwise inappropriate for the App.

Fleet may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload infringing, unlawful, or violating content.

If you believe content in Fleet violates your rights or should be removed, please contact us at thiago@fleet-planes.com with enough information for us to identify and review the content.

12. Security and Unauthorized Access risk

Fleet takes reasonable steps designed to protect the information and content handled through the App. However, no app, website, server, database, network, or method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

By using Fleet, you understand that information and content you upload, store, or share through the App may be subject to unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse, despite Fleet's efforts to protect it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fleet is not responsible for unauthorized access to, use of, disclosure of, loss of, or damage to your content or information where such event is outside Fleet's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Updates & Availability service

We may release updates, modify features, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We are not liable for any interruption, degradation, or unavailability of the App caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of government, regulation, embargo, or sanctions.
  • Internet, network, or telecommunications failures.
  • Cloud infrastructure or hosting provider outages.
  • Revocation, suspension, or discontinuation of third-party API access (including FlightAware, AeroDataBox, and FlightRadar24).
  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events.

Such events do not constitute a breach of these Terms and do not entitle you to a refund or damages.

14. Disclaimers no guarantees

Fleet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Aviation decisions should rely on official sources and regulations.

15. Limitation of Liability damages

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Thiago Lorenzo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of Fleet. For paid subscribers, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Fleet in the twelve months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification your liability

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Thiago Lorenzo from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
  • Data you submit, import, or share through Fleet.
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

17. Termination ending access

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we cease offering Fleet. You may stop using the App at any time without notice.

18. Governing Law jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless overridden by mandatory consumer protection or privacy laws.

19. Changes updates

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version in the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

20. General legal

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Thiago Lorenzo regarding Fleet and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
